I don't believe in starving yourself. I believe in understanding your body.

About Me

I've been where you are.

Hi, I'm Winnie and I know exactly what it feels like when your body feels like it's fighting you. After I had my baby, postpartum, with PCOS, I gained 24kg and unlike the "snap back" most people talk about, nothing was shifting it. Not the workouts. Not the effort I'd always relied on before. Nothing.

That's when I had to actually understand what my body needed, learning about blood sugar balance, insulin, intermittent fasting, and training in a fasted state. Almost a year later, I'd lost 26kg, let go of belly fat I couldn't shake before, and rebuilt a stronger body with PCOS, not by pretending it didn't exist. That's the program I built. Not from a textbook but from living it.

This works at every stage of life. Whether you're in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s, this approach is built for you (recommended for ages 21+). It's especially powerful if you're navigating menopause or andropause because a high-protein approach helps preserve muscle mass, which supports your metabolism, lifts your energy, and even improves your sleep. Your body's needs change with every decade, for men and women alike. This program changes with you. If your body has ever felt like it was working against you, I want you to know it can work. It worked for me. It can work for you too.

My Approach

"How Will You Help Me Lose Weight?"

You've tried the diets. You've tried the gym. So why isn't the weight coming off?

Most weight loss advice treats your body like a calculator: eat less, move more, done. If it were that simple, you'd have solved this already.

In my experience, sustainable weight loss comes down to three things: balancing your blood sugar, bringing down your insulin levels, and eating enough protein. When these are off, your body holds onto fat and fights you at every turn, no matter how disciplined you are. Gut health plays a supporting role too, but blood sugar, insulin and protein are the real foundation.

That's why my approach combines two things most programs leave out: a structured weight loss program built around blood sugar balance, lower insulin and a high-protein diet (real food and realistic habits that fit your daily life, not restriction), and a gut health recipe book that supports the process by easing bloating and digestive discomfort along the way. This isn't about willpower. It's about working with your body instead of against it.

Phase 1

The 9-Week Reset (Detox Phase)

We start by cutting out the foods that disrupt your gut and spike your insulin and blood sugar: the ones quietly keeping your body in "store fat, hold onto weight" mode. Over these 9 weeks, your insulin levels come down, your gut starts to heal, and your body finally stops fighting you.

Phase 2

The Sustainable 9-Week Plan

Once your body has reset, we shift into a plan built to actually last, one that includes the foods you love, in a way that works. A plan too restrictive to live with long term isn't a plan. It's a countdown to falling off it.

Let's Set the Record Straight

Let's Debunk the Myths

Isn't losing weight just about starving yourself?
No, and this is the myth that derails more people than anything else. Starvation-style dieting (skipping meals, cutting calories drastically, "detox" teas) might show a number drop on the scale in week one, but it slows your metabolism, triggers muscle loss instead of fat loss, and almost always ends in a binge that puts the weight right back on, often with extra. Your body isn't the enemy. It's trying to protect you. Real, lasting weight loss comes from feeding your body well, not depriving it.
What about intermittent fasting? Does it actually work?
Intermittent fasting can be a useful tool for some people. It's not starvation when done right, because you're still eating enough over your eating window. But it's not magic, and it's not for everyone. It won't fix poor gut health, it won't fix a diet full of processed food, and if it's not paired with the right nutrition, it can leave you fatigued, irritable and stuck. IF is a tool, not a solution, and whether it fits your body depends on your gut health, your hormones and your lifestyle. This is exactly the kind of personalised question I help unpack in a 1:1 consultation, because what works for one body doesn't work for another.
If I just eat less, won't I lose weight?
Eating less without eating right usually backfires: cravings spike, energy crashes, and most people can't sustain it past a few weeks. The goal isn't less food. It's the right food, in the right way, for your body.
Do I have to give up chapati, ugali and everything I love, forever?
This is where most weight loss journeys die before they even start. People decide their plan means never eating chapati again, never having ugali again, cutting out everything all at once, and it feels so overwhelming that they never actually begin. A plan that's too restrictive to live with isn't sustainable. It's just a countdown to giving up. That's exactly why my program is built in phases, with room for a cheat meal once in a while once you're in the sustainable phase. The more consistently you follow a plan you can actually live with, the more your body adapts, until regaining the weight is no longer the constant battle it used to be. You don't need to drop everything overnight. You need a plan that fits your real life.

The Missing Piece

Gut Health Recipe Book

Bloating after meals. Constipation. Indigestion. Irregular bowels. Constant sugar cravings. Feeling "stuck" no matter what you try. These aren't random. They're signs your gut needs attention.

My Gut Health Recipe Book teaches you how to make your own probiotics, prebiotics and digestive enzymes at home, using simple, accessible ingredients, not expensive imported supplements. Inside, you'll learn how to use these homemade recipes to help ease common everyday gut struggles like:

  • ✓ Bloating after meals
  • ✓ Constipation and irregular bowels
  • ✓ Indigestion
  • ✓ Low energy linked to poor digestion
This is a practical, hands-on recipe book, not a medical treatment plan. If you have a diagnosed digestive condition (such as ulcers, SIBO, IBS or anything similar), please check with your doctor before starting, since something like probiotics can affect these conditions differently depending on the person. If a recipe ever causes discomfort rather than relief, stop and speak to a healthcare provider. Everybody's gut is different.

Quick Answers

A Few Things People Ask Me

How long until I see results?
Everybody is different, but most clients notice changes in energy and bloating within the first two weeks, with visible weight changes following as the gut and habits align.
Do I have to give up all my favourite foods?
No. This isn't about restriction. It's about balance, and making the foods you already eat work for your goals.
I've failed at diets before. Will this be different?
Most diets fail because they ignore your gut and treat everyone the same. This approach starts with what's actually happening in your body.
Is this only for women?
Not at all. This program is for anyone ready to lose weight the sustainable way, men and women alike.
